A Level company - serving Yonkers, NY

Meet the Team - Level Two Chimney Yonkers

Every visit starts with

Level 1 sweep and inspection to the NFPA 211 annual standard - flue, crown, cap, and flashing checked and photographed

Worth knowing

Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.

Meet the Yonkers Team Behind Level Two Chimney Yonkers

We’re a small crew, and that’s deliberate. Every technician who walks through your door in Yonkers is someone Corrine has trained personally, watched on a roof, and trusted inside a stranger’s home. No subcontractors, no day laborers, no rotating cast. The people below are the ones who answer the phone, drive the truck, run the camera, and write the report. We’ve worked together for years, most of us a decade or more, and we’ve swept everything from 1920s colonials in Park Hill to mid-century ranches in Lincoln Park. Same standard on every roof, same Clause 4 photo record on every job.

Our People

Marcus T. - Lead Technician

Marcus has been with Level Two Chimney Yonkers for 11 years and has personally completed more than 6,000 inspections and cleanings across Westchester. He holds NFPA 211 Level 2 camera-scan certification and is the technician we send when a homeowner has been told by another company they need a new liner and wants to know if that’s actually true. What Marcus is known for: he can read a spalling brick pattern from 20 feet away and explain it in one sentence. He grew up in Yonkers, went to Saunders Trades and Technical High School, and still lives in the city with his wife and two dogs. In his off-hours, he coaches youth basketball at the Yonkers YMCA.

Dana R. - Senior Installer

Dana leads our liner installation and rebuild work, with 9 years at Level Two Chimney Yonkers and a background in masonry that predates it by another 7. She’s certified on DuraFlex and HeatShield systems and has run more than 400 full liner replacements in Westchester County. When a chimney fire has compromised a clay flue or a crown has failed so badly that water is running down the smoke chamber, Dana is the one who quotes it, scopes it, and runs the crew on site. She’s particular about mortar mix in cold weather, which matters in Yonkers, where freeze-thaw cycles hit older brick hard. Outside work, she’s a serious runner and has finished the Yonkers Marathon twice.

Leo F. - Service Coordinator

Leo is usually the first voice you hear when you call (551) 212-3526. He’s been with the team for 6 years and handles scheduling, permit paperwork for liner replacements, and the written price documents that go out before anyone sets foot on your property. Leo is the reason our written quotes arrive with the scope of work, warranty terms, and price line items already laid out, not a vague number scribbled on a carbon slip. Before joining us, he worked in residential property management in the Bronx, which is where he learned exactly how frustrating it is to deal with contractors who won’t put things in writing. He knows every neighborhood in Yonkers well enough to tell you whether the crew can park the truck on your block or needs to carry tools half a street down. A lifelong Mets fan, which the rest of the crew gives him a hard time about.

Angela C. - Apprentice Technician

Angela joined us two years ago after completing a trades program at Westchester Community College and has been shadowing Marcus ever since. She’s now certified for standard sweep and Level 1 inspections and works alongside our lead techs on roughly 15 jobs a week. Angela is the one who runs the camera system on most Level 2 inspections, which means she’s the person documenting liner cracks, creosote classification, and crown condition in your photo report. She’s fast, thorough, and doesn’t mind the parts of the job nobody else wants, like hauling a 40-foot ladder up a steep driveway in the rain. Born in Yonkers, raised in the Hollow section, and currently learning to keep bees in her spare time.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

Level Two Chimney Yonkers operates under the Haven Standard, which has governed every one of our 38,000+ inspections and cleanings since 2009. That means every job, whether it’s a basic sweep in Crestwood or a full rebuild near Untermyer Park, gets a written price before work starts, a written scope, and a written warranty. Clause 1 of the Haven Standard requires it: a written price, written scope, and written warranty delivered before anyone starts, not after the tech is already in your home. Clause 4 requires a documented photo record on every visit, and we’ve maintained that archive continuously since day one. The 365-Day Done Right Promise backs every job we do, and a Free Second Opinion on any written estimate is always available. That’s our standard, and none of it changes based on which crew member shows up. We’re independently owned and operated, background-checked, uniformed, and licensed, with license information displayed on every page. If you want to know what shape your chimney is in, call (551) 212-3526. Someone will answer.
